The agency brief that makes outreach accountable
A usable brief connects targeting, representation, and ownership.
Define one campaign at a time
Give each campaign a named business owner and a concrete objective. Separate client audiences and offers so the professional doing outreach knows which company they represent and why a prospect is relevant.
Make targeting useful
Record role, geography, company characteristics, and clear exclusions. Add a few examples of good and poor fits with an explanation of the difference. A list of titles alone rarely captures the context a person needs to start a useful conversation.
Approve claims and representation
Provide the offer, supporting evidence, approved wording, and prohibited claims. Explain the professional’s actual relationship with the company. Profile descriptions and messages should reflect that relationship accurately.
Define reply ownership
State who responds to questions, who can discuss commercial terms, and where interested conversations go. Set a practical escalation process for objections, requests to stop contact, or information the professional cannot verify.
Turn the brief into a working agreement
Review reporting, access boundaries, data handling, and campaign closure with the provider. For a service such as Akountify, confirm which activities its current scope includes. A shared brief reduces ambiguity; it does not replace a clear service agreement.
Read LinkedIn’s User Agreement for platform terms and Akountify’s business-model explanation for its description of the service. This is an Akountify educational resource; provider descriptions are not independent verification or platform endorsement.
Evaluate the human-led approach.
Review Akountify’s current service and ask how its delivery model fits your requirements.
